Those violent gods.

They ravaged the lands, consuming everything. The life. The essence. The earth. They devoured all that they could, leaving nothing but wastelands in their wake.

Our world was plunged into darkness for mere decades.

The land was dead and mankind was forced underground. Forced to hide away from the wrath of these gods.

In this new world, you can only eat or be eaten.

It was man’s turn to crave destruction. To feed the insatiable hunger.

Synopsis

The remainder of the world’s inhabitants have been pushed to take refuge underground in order to avoid contact with the Aragami. Together, they created the artificial metropolis dubbed Shangri-La.

The NATHAIR Company was founded to help push back these gods and reclaim human territory. New specially engineered biological weapons were developed to combat the Aragami. The God Arc.

Citizens of the metropolis were recruited by NATHAIR through a thorough screening process. Those that succeed in passing this trial are then granted the title God Eater.
